Comments and Feedback

Use comments and annotations to discuss visual issues with your team directly within QA Proof.

Adding Comments

  1. Open any test result or issue
  2. Click in the comment area at the bottom
  3. Type your message and press Enter or click "Post"

Visual Annotations

Pin comments directly on screenshots:

  1. Open the visual comparison view
  2. Click the annotation tool in the toolbar
  3. Click on the screenshot where you want to add a note
  4. Type your comment and save

Annotations appear as numbered pins on the screenshot, making it easy to reference specific areas.

Mentions

Use @username to mention team members. They'll receive a notification and can jump directly to the comment.

Resolving Comments

Mark comments as resolved when the issue is addressed. Resolved comments are collapsed but can be expanded to view the full thread.

Notifications

Get notified when someone:

  • Mentions you in a comment
  • Replies to your comment
  • Resolves a comment thread you're part of
