Connect QA Proof with Jira to track visual bugs alongside your existing project management workflow.
Connecting Jira
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Click "Connect Jira"
- Enter your Jira instance URL
- Authorize QA Proof
- Select the Jira project to link
Creating Jira Tickets from Issues
When QA Proof finds a visual issue:
- Open the issue in QA Proof
- Click "Create Jira Ticket"
- Choose the issue type, priority, and assignee
- The ticket is created with screenshots and details attached
Automatic Ticket Creation
Enable auto-creation in project settings to have Jira tickets created automatically for issues above a certain severity threshold.
Two-Way Sync
QA Proof syncs status between platforms:
- When a Jira ticket is resolved, the QA Proof issue is updated
- When a QA Proof issue is dismissed, the linked ticket is notified
- Comments sync between both platforms
