Jira Integration

Connect QA Proof with Jira to track visual bugs alongside your existing project management workflow.

Connecting Jira

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click "Connect Jira"
  3. Enter your Jira instance URL
  4. Authorize QA Proof
  5. Select the Jira project to link

Creating Jira Tickets from Issues

When QA Proof finds a visual issue:

  1. Open the issue in QA Proof
  2. Click "Create Jira Ticket"
  3. Choose the issue type, priority, and assignee
  4. The ticket is created with screenshots and details attached

Automatic Ticket Creation

Enable auto-creation in project settings to have Jira tickets created automatically for issues above a certain severity threshold.

Two-Way Sync

QA Proof syncs status between platforms:

  • When a Jira ticket is resolved, the QA Proof issue is updated
  • When a QA Proof issue is dismissed, the linked ticket is notified
  • Comments sync between both platforms
