Connecting Slack
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Click "Connect Slack"
- Authorize QA Proof in your Slack workspace
- Choose a default channel for notifications
Notification Types
Configure which events trigger Slack messages:
- Test completed: Summary of pass/fail results
- Critical issues found: Immediate alerts for severe visual bugs
- Baseline updated: When someone updates a design baseline
- Team activity: New members, permission changes
- Weekly digest: Summary of all design QA activity
Channel Configuration
You can route notifications to different channels:
- Critical issues → #design-qa-alerts
- Test summaries → #design-qa
- Team activity → #team-updates
Interactive Messages
Slack notifications include action buttons to:
- View full results in QA Proof
- Accept or reject visual changes
- Assign issues to team members
Managing Notifications
Each team member can customize their personal notification preferences in Profile → Notification Settings.
