Archiving and Deleting Tests

Keep your test library clean by archiving outdated tests or deleting ones you no longer need.

Archiving Tests

Archiving removes a test from your active list without permanently deleting it. Archived tests:

  • Won't appear in your main test list
  • Won't run in scheduled test suites
  • Can be restored at any time
  • Still appear in historical reports

To archive a test, click the "..." menu on the test and select "Archive".

Viewing Archived Tests

To see archived tests, go to the "Tests" tab and toggle the "Show Archived" filter. From there you can restore or permanently delete them.

Deleting Tests

Permanently deleting a test removes it and all its history. This action cannot be undone.

  1. Open the test or select it from the list
  2. Click "..." → "Delete"
  3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog

Bulk Archive or Delete

Select multiple tests using checkboxes, then use "Bulk Actions" to archive or delete them all at once.

💡 Pro Tip: When in doubt, archive rather than delete. You can always restore archived tests if you need them later.
