Managing Your Account

Manage your QA Proof account settings, profile information, and security preferences.

Profile Settings

Update your profile in Settings → Profile:

  • Display name and avatar
  • Email address
  • Time zone and language preferences
  • Notification preferences

Changing Your Password

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Click "Change Password"
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter and confirm your new password
  5. Click "Update Password"

Two-Factor Authentication

Enable 2FA for extra security:

  1. Go to Settings → Security
  2. Click "Enable 2FA"
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  4. Enter the verification code to confirm
  5. Save your backup codes in a safe place

Connected Accounts

Manage social login connections (Google, GitHub) in Settings → Connected Accounts. You can link or unlink accounts at any time.

Deleting Your Account

To permanently delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Scroll to "Danger Zone"
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm by typing your email address

This action is irreversible. All your data, projects, and test history will be permanently removed.
